Chuck's music has always been influenced by Jazz. In 1991 he met a shy vocalist from Bowie, Maryland named Eva Cassidy. Her voice not only amazed him, it inspired him to record an album with her of Jazz and Blues standards entitled "The Other Side." Together they performed live at Blues Alley, Wolf Trap, The Barns Of Wolf Trap, The Kennedy Center, and elsewhere. The duet "Drown In My Own Tears" garnered radio attention in the Mid-Atlantic increasing the duo's already rapidly growing popularity.

Eva Cassidy died of cancer in 1996 (and has posthumously gone on to sell over a million records worldwide). Chuck recorded an album of Jazz and Blues standards entitled "Timeless" and dedicated the release to Eva's loving memory. The album builds on the foundation he established with Eva, and brings Chuck into his own as a true master Jazz musician and vocalist."
